Peach Gum (also called Peach Resin / Peasant’s Bird Nest) is not the artificially flavored commercial product that you think it is. It is an oil naturally secreted and accumulates on a peach tree’s branches. Then it is picked, dried and aged under the sun, giving it a translucent amber look resembling a gemstone.

How to use:
- Bring water to a boil. Add snow lotus seeds, dried red dates, dried longan and pear. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add peach gum and simmer for another 15minutes.
- Add rock sugar to taste.
- Serve warm or chilled
